Flip's Flyers
Our story
We exist to put fair work in the hands of people who need a real chance to get back on their feet.
Why we started
A grassroots business with a clear purpose
Flip's Flyers began with a simple idea. Help people on the margins of our society find work that pays a proper wage, the kind of wage that can steady a life again.
We are a grassroots outfit. We want to leave our communities better than we found them by opening doors for those of us who have a hard time finding and keeping stable work, for whatever reason that struggle looks like.

Lived experience
We know the stigma because we have lived it
The founders of this business are actively in recovery. We know what it feels like to look for a job when a giant stigma sits next to your name.
That experience shapes how we hire, how we train, and how we treat the people who walk through our door. Empathy here is not a slogan. It is the reason this company exists.
What we believe
The principles that guide our work
These are not posters on a wall. They are the habits we try to practice every day with our crews and with the neighbors we meet on the street.
Altruism
We built this so someone else could catch a break when the world felt stacked against them.
Honesty
We say what we mean about the work, the money, and the expectations we hold for ourselves.
Open-mindedness
People arrive with different pasts. We meet them where they are and judge them by how they show up today.
Willingness
When someone is not strong enough to climb alone, we believe it is our job to lend a hand.
Transparency
Funding the work we set out to do
We are working to secure donations, and we hope to pursue government grants down the road, so we can keep doing the work we started this company to do.
We are completely transparent about where support goes. We recently secured fiscal sponsorship to strengthen that integrity and to give donors a clearer line of trust from their gift to the people it helps.

Our standard
Recovery is not a side note. It is the bar.
We take pride in knowing that anyone who works for us is actively in the program of recovery and is drug free. That is not a soft preference. It is the standard we set.
Every day we work to keep that standard for our employees the same way we keep it for ourselves at the top. Leadership does not ask for a life it is unwilling to live.
Respect and accountability
Making amends by showing up
We believe in a world where those of us who have made mistakes can right the wrongs. That happens by showing up every day and making amends, not only to the people we have harmed, but also to ourselves.
Respect and accountability are hallmarks of everyone who carries the name of Flip's Flyers. If you work with us, you represent that name in every neighborhood we walk.
Walk with us
Whether you want to support the mission or put your flyers in trusted hands, we would be glad to hear from you.
